It would be super handy if there were a button to add a sender who ended up in Spam to the allow list/safe list (I think white list is an antiquated, problematic term, by the way) from said email directly, without having to dig into settings each time :)
@seathebeauty Hey! Thanks for the suggestion. If an email ends up in spam you can also click on the sender address in the header and add a spam rule directly from there.
Oh, awesome! Admittedly, I was inclined to look for that option/funcrionality in the "..." menu of the email and when it wasn't there, I assumed it wasn't possible to do from the email directly.

On one hand, I'm glad that screen readers can do something with this new API out of the box. On the other, long-standing bugs exhibited by using live regions are still present with this new API, such as #NVDA not interrupting a normal-priority message when a high-priority one comes in. #accessibility

I'm mostly interested in #remote work, due to my complete blindness traveling to a workplace is more difficult, all be it not impossible. I just prefer coding from my bedroom. I'm a software developer and hacker (in the oldest and best sense of the word) who loves nothing more than figuring out a good challenge. I never understood why OpenOffice people / Apache foundation still maintaining it - Is there some core difference to LibreOffice or is it like more a hobby pet no one wants let to die?
@DeltaLima There have been no major updates to Apache OpenOffice since 2014 (the last big release, 4.1). LibreOffice has hundreds of extra features, improvements and fixes. The OpenOffice Git log is almost entirely two people removing whitespace and changing HTML tags to create the impression of activity: github.com/apache/openoffice/c… – So we don't know why the Apache Software Foundation doesn't close it, especially with the unfixed security issues. It's bad for FOSS in general.

I agree. Just by looking at the commits of the last 5 months suggests that OpenOffice is basically dead. There are commits, but mostly just syntax/whitespace being shifted around. That doesn't count!
So yeah, I support the call to deprecate OpenOffice because it's just practically unmaintained and insecure.
I switched from LibreOffice to OpenOffice about a year ago because for some reason LibreOffice had become excruciatingly slow and crash-prone. It happened in different computers - old and new.

NEVER use flash-based storage for archival purposes.
Not CF, not SD, not USB-sticks, not SSD, not NVME, nor any other flash-technology based storage media.
Flash is simply not a stable storage mechanism: Just like Dynamic RAM it will eventually forget your bits.
Unfortunately there are no good choices for long term data storage, but flash is a particular bad choice.
