Initial RISCV64/Linux support. Valgrind gdbserver supports 'x' packets. Bug fixes for Illumos. --track-fds=yes treats inherited file descriptors like stdin/out/err (0,1,2). There is --modify-fds=high. s390x support for new instructions (BPP, BPRP and NIAI). New linux syscalls supported (landlock*, open_tree, move_mount, fsopen, fsconfig, fsmount, fspick, userfaultfd). The Linux Test Project (ltp) is integrated in the testsuite.

is there any VPS provider more chad than #Contabo ?? arcanechat.me VPS went down today, the VPS will simply fail to start from the Control Panel, this WAY TOO OFTEN happens during weekends or holidays, their status page says nothing about any problems or maintenance, and if you try to write to support they will tell you "sorry it is weekend, your message will not even be stored" so I guess arcanechat.me will be down the whole weekend >:-/

@pvagner looks interesting but it is 12 euros per month, with that money I could get two VPS in other providers which would actually be more resilient than having a single VPS, #ArcaneChat will have multi-transport support per profile which means users will be able to use two different servers at the same time in case one goes down etc

When you watch a #Superman movie or read the comics, you see a character created by two Jewish boys about a man from another world, with a secret identity, who puts on glasses and a suit to blend into the world around him.

That's who Superman is. He's the first-generation immigrant who was once called Kal-El, and is now Clark Kent.

But here's the important part:
NO ONE KNOWS his true identity.

He is a metaphor for so many first-generation Jewish people in the late 1800s/early 1900s, who hid their #Jewish #ancestry and changed their names to blend in.

Do you have Jewish ancestors? Look at your tree. Find the "Russian,” "Polish," “Ukrainian,” and "Czech" immigrants. Your Jewish ancestor probably comes from there. Research terms like "Shtetle" and "Pogroms."

Addis Standard is one of the few, if not the only, Ethiopian news outlets that always holds the government accountable. They did this through imprisonments, raids, and more. Your favorite journalist here on the fediverse, @ZekuZelalem started his career at Addis Standard.

And on April 17 federal police raided them, harassed their staff, and confiscated their devices. Their statement👇🏼

Confiscated list of equipment during the office raid: The following equipment were seized from office has not been returned since: 6 laptops 2 desktops 3 flash disks (large capacity) 8 mobile phones 2 CPUs In addition to issuing a stern warning & threat against any public announcement of the raid & confiscations, the police also filmed the office raid, & have four people to sign on a paper stating the list of the confiscated equipment. Later in the evening, upon releasing the two senior staff, the police indicated that the electronic items may be eligible for release sometime after Tuesday next week. Therefore, Addis Standard publications would like to inform the public that while our main digital credentials are secured, any messages, emails, or communications originating from the devices - computers & phones - that were confiscated during the police raid do not represent Addis Standard or any member of its team. These devices have been in the hands of law enforcement since the time of the raid, & we cannot verify any activity conducted through them. The timing of this operation on the eve of the Easter holiday appears deliberate, aimed at delaying our response & isolating our team. However, we are doing everything in our capacity to exhaust all legal & peaceful avenues to ensure our team's safety & the safe return of our electronic equipment.

Details In the early hours of Thursday April 17/2025, a senior office of our IT department was forcibly taken from home at 5:00 AM by police forces. Our staff was physically mishandled during the incident; the security forces confiscated the following personal & work-related electronics items, 1 work laptop 2 mobile phones (one belonging to the spouse) 1 lash disk, 1 external hard disk. The staff member was also forcibly filmed by a police officer during the raid and was forced to sign on a paper admitting that they have willingly surrendered the equipment to the police officers. By midday, the senior staff was released, but all electronic devises remain under the control of the police. Hi Robert, good question & one I don't know offhand (if anyone does, please share!) Looking on reactos.org/faq/#can-i-install… I found "Can I install ReactOS and run any software compatible with Windows on it?
Probably yes. However we highly recommend to check first if your favourite app runs in ReactOS. ReactOS is still an on-going project and not all the apps and drivers runs perfect on it."

Are any of our #FOSS / #Linux friends involved in #ReactOS able to share experiences please?
