Following a discussion in the user group, which essentially revolved around "After updating to a new version of NVDA, it should FORCE you to restart the PC", I thought I'd just ask here: SHOULD NVDA force you to restart the PC after updating? (The argument being, that sometimes we see quirky behaviour after updating but before restarting. Currently we simply advise you to restart if you encounter something unexpected).

Putting aside politics, with the exception of naturalisation, what do you think is the best way to determine a child's citizenship - country of birth or parents' country?
(Racists these days fight for parents country, but decades ago, colonialists fought for country of birth. Either way, try to ignore all of that.)
If you were President of the world, how would you decide a child's citizenship?

I'm curious to know how many people on the Fediverse are multilingual compared to non-multilingual.
How many languages are you fluent in (that is, you can either read, speak, and/or write it to get by in most situations)? Feel free to boost this to increase the sample size, and feel free to comment which languages you're fluent in!

Imagine a tragic situation - a headline in the news, the 11yo child got infected by rare ameba in public pool and died.
What would you make you more calm?

#poll to distract from whatever may be stressing you. Watching a disaster movie so it made me think.

People who use #ScreenReaders, imagine a feature on your instance where you can automatically hide any post that contains images/videos without alt text.
If you reply with an opinion and YOU PERSONALLY don't need alt text for accessibility reasons, I will probably block you.
