CASTING CALL: After our special Halloween crossover episode with Bitter Karella's Hugo-nominated twitter microfiction "The Midnight Pals", she and I got talking... and I can now reveal that we are making a WHOLE NOTHER AUDIO SERIES, "Submitted For the Approval of the Midnight Pals", a comedy-horror anthology in which classic horror authors, living and dead, gather around the campfire to tell their strange and scary tales. We're looking for four male-range voices for the parts of Stephen (King), Dean (Koontz), Clive (Barker) and Edgar Allan Poe. This is an unpaid, for-fun project, at least for the first season.
(There'll be further casting calls, including roles for all genders, for the guest casts of individual episodes, which we'll get to once we've filled out the main cast.)

Hi. I'm testing the 7.5 release and to me it's clearly not clean enough to go live. Sorry for being so abrupt, but I'm really disappointed. Using it for 2 hours and I've been facing big bugs preventing an efficient work (ui freeze / not working buttons / hard-to-read darkmode). Reported 4 bugs, but now I need to work, so back to 7.4 :(
Now I'll need to modify the release instructions to cope with GitLab, and I need to find a replacement for the Cairo website that doesn't require hand-editing HTML and copy pasting shortlogs, you know, like a caveman.
I'll probably publish release information, announcements, and artefacts on GitLab and then point the Cairo website there.
I've always struggled with movement coordination & been an awkward dancer. But this winter I took up lindy hop with my bf and yesterday, I went to a social dance party for the 1st time and DANCED😊And that's it, that's the tweet. I'm just very happy about that.
