I actually kinda really like it in concept and want to learn to use it. I've set up my bar to show me both the week date and the standard ISO date, to hopefully help me start getting a feel for it.

Chrome 127 is rolling out now! With support for font-size-adjust, user activations propagated in the Document Picture-in-Picture API, keyboard focusable scroll containers and there's plenty more.
Confirmation that this feature is not really in 127:
“Currently, 10% of users see it. By 128, 100% of users should expect keyboard focusable scrollers to be enabled by default.”

Not sure what you are saying here. If it is rolling out as part of 127, and it is already available to 10%, then it will get to 100%, which will ultimately complete the 127 release. What am I missing? You can’t have a partial roll-out for one release and the rest in the next release.

Sorry, I am on all sorts of builds, but did the 127 release already rolled out completely? If not, then this is how Android / Chrome has always worked. The announcements are written with the complete roll-out in mind. I assume you have done your due diligence. I was just confused with the way your argument sounded to my ears.
No, not really. Just because you have 127 on your computer does not mean everyone else has gotten it. It may take several days before most of the world gets the update. That’s how it always worked… There is probably a description of the process somewhere online. I know it puzzled me the first time I heard about the process.

@cachondo This costs about $1.50 in filament to print, with 3D printing most of the time it's about the same price to print 1 as 100 because you don't have to make injection molds
But yeah printing one would be pretty easy! It obviously wouldn't be updatable/dynamic Braille but could be fun to just feel. If you made one/found a file often local libraries will print things for cheap!
it's more the shape of the device, where things are on it, how your fingers sit. For example if you google an Orbit 20 Reader versus a Brailliant BI20 you'll see some have keys at the front, some don't. Keen, I hope it sorts itself out soon. I wish there was a decent Google maps replacement. Not just for navigation--that's fairly simple--but rather for local SEARCH. How else are you supposed to search for stuff nearby? Yelp is the only alternative I even know of and it's terrible. Nextdoor is arguably a contender but it's even worse. Nothing community driven whatsoever that I'm aware of...
Amongst other things, I think the magic touch with a nav app is when end-users can submit events on the fly (closures, crashes, etc). The fact you can see other Waze users live on the map is a testament to the community-driven nature of the data. Do any of the open options dabble in this currently?
as a long distance cyclist I always use Osmand+ which I can download sections for to use offline going abroad and delete them after I leave the section again. Very convenient.

the idea behind these apps is great. I use Organic Maps sometimes, but all the OSM databases are missing local info. You cant find anything over 99% of the time via address. Waze is my curremt choice until something is done to provide addresses and more businesses to the database.
/e/OS comes oreinstalled with "Magic Earth", which is also not bad. Not sure if it's entirely open Source, though. And I think it costs money if you get it via Google Play Store.
