This doesn’t have to feel like a “loss”. On the contrary, I’d argue that rejecting today’s Apple is the only way to keep a piece of that old Apple around. Think of it this way: I’m pretty sure that original Mac team that put up the pirate flag would agree with you today and not “Apple leadership.” You aren’t losing that 13 year old version of yourself right now, you are making him proud.

I've been looking for examples of talks that show code and which are also excellent! I think he's pulled it off brilliantly.
My learnings: I think it's just about taking a huge amount of time to carefully build your slides.
Unexpected: The source code wasn't coloured, but it didn't seem to matter too much.

I expect Amazon to close the Delta facility. Like they closed in Quebec. It will be part of their strategy and not related to the labour relations they don't want to have.
Here is a thing to take in consideration:
In he now-closed Québec facilities who was in the Montreal Metropolitan region. This region have ~4,1 million hab., or ~48% of the population of the province of Québec.
By roads, it’s at ~1h-1h30-ish away (excl. traffic), from Amazon facilities in Ontario.
Unless there was some plants in Alberta not far away from the BC border AND the large population centers in BC.
The math is not the same. Amazon *MIGHT* take a different route.
