A new “continuous sidewalk” in #Kitchener. The design differs from regular sidewalks in that it doesn’t dip down to road level at intersections. It continues at an uninterrupted height. This slows cars turning onto the street + reinforces pedestrian priority through the intersections. Same at the driveways, so you don’t get the up-down “roller coaster effect” when you’re #walking, #cycling or using a wheelchair.

Praha - Nejbezpečnější a nejkomfortnější způsob přepravy dětí na kole je ve vozíku taženém za kolem. Dítě je ve vozíku připoutáno a od vnějších vlivů ho chrání pevná konstrukce.
Dnes to byl útěk před bouřkou. #cyklovýlet jsem musel zkrátit, ale i tak mě to dostihlo. Samozřejmě není špatného počasí na #birellovka. Tak jestli vysuším tretry, tak zítra trochu kopečků přes Krušnohoří 💪🏼⛰️
@pkotrcka Jj šlo to od Aše, chvíli jsem bouřce ujížděl, ale posledních 20 km to byl brutál 😄 Déšť a do toho popadané stromy a větve. K tomu boční vítr.
My vyjeli s Lenčou v deset a vrátili se v půl třetí. 13 km, během kterých jsme stihli: - vkrást se na uzavřený dopravní hřiště (že tam nemáme co dělat jsem zjistil až při odchodu, byť jsem tu ceduli hledal :D ) - pohrát si na hřišti a dát si zmrzku - počvachtat se v sousední obci - počvachtat se v naší obci
Za mě splněno a rozhodnutí vyjet ráno úplně nelituju :D
A few more accent color things landed, e.g. settings illustrations can now follow it, calculator has dropped orange, new dialogs disambiguate suggested/destructive styles, while papers and sysprof properly redraw when accent changes now (and it's all in gnome os, incl. shell finally). So yeah, it's all in a fairly good shape now ^^ (other than blue folders)
