@Cleverson Do you know read feeds #nvdasr addon by @Noelia Ruiz Martínez ?
Or recently my friend Marek Susčík has developed a new one with more features such as background updates, opml impord and export and others It can be downloaded from this url: suscik.cz/nvda/rss/rssreader.n…
The thing I haven't really checked yetif its UI is available in english.

I know many may complain about #NVDASR and its terminal support, But hear me out: It's not as bad as Mac OS.
* On Mac OS, using QuickNav with VoiceOver and reviewing with VO +Control + left and right arrows word by word land you in different parts of the text getting reviewed.
* To select chunks of text to re-paste (such as when Git tells me an exact command to enter), I do: Command+A to select terminal contents, text edit paste it, then find the bit I need to use. (update: use VO+Command+Enter)

I just wrote a little #NVDASR app module for Phone Link to:
1. Allow shift+tabbing to the message list without the app crashing, since Microsoft apparently can't be bothered fixing this rather severe bug.
2. Allow alt+1 to focus the Conversations list when the Messages view is already active instead of just doing nothing.
I can't really be bothered submitting it as a proper add-on or a core app module, but if anyone wants it, let me know and I can throw it up somewhere.

Does anyone know why NVDA isn't letting me read by arrows when I try to rename a file form Explorer with f2 or the rename context menu option?

Issue with #NVDASR 2024.2 and Windows 10 22H2 (AMD64) build 19045.4529.

Is there an #NVDASR setting that would cause multi-byte emoji to not read? This emoji reads as cat wrong to me instead of black cat.

On 2024.2 RC, also tried different synthes.

Very impressed with the new Split #Braille Feature in #JAWS. Being able to read Teams chat with half my display whilst typing someplace else is tremendous. They seem to have well thought out the different modes and views. Shame about the cells wasted with the split and lack of customisability of the viewport widths. If I won the lottery I'd throw a few hundred k at #NVDASR for comparable #BrailleDisplay development

Okay, this now exists in the world: a #NVDASR addon to translate text using #DeepL, based on the older NVDA translate addon that used google. It's much faster, though you will require a free API key. Note that while this works, I don't intend to submit to the NVDA Addon store; I doubt I've followed any of the requirements to do that. Instructions and the release live on github: github.com/fastfinge/nvda-translate/

Thanks for the heads up @Marek Macko. A while ago I had some patches that improved tab key navigation in the @Mixxx DJ Software preferences window. Perhaps I should revisit that and try to polish it for one of the upcoming releases. Making the main window and actuall mixxx controls accessible to the platform specific apis is beyond my skills I am afraid but I already have some experiments i.e. sending mixxx control states through the controller API and using virtual midi port to read it and pass it to screen reader for text to speech. On linux this is already working for me with orca.
Another approach I haven't yet tested but am just thinking of might be reusing platform specific notification channels such as interfacing directly with a screen readers on windows such as #nvdasr controler client and using announcement role on linux to generate voice prompts for the screen readrers. This might have a similar effect to the end user than the virtual midi port but will be built into mixxx it-self.
@Mixxx DJ Software have you also got some ideas related to this please?
