LibreOffice 24.8 will be released as final at the end of August, 2024 ( Check the Release Plan ) being LibreOffice 24.8 Alpha1 the first pre-release since the development of version 24.8 started at the beginning of December, 2023.
LibreOffice Conference 2024 will take place in Luxembourg, at the Digital Learning Hub and the local campus of 42 Luxembourg in Belval, Esch-sur-Alzette, from 10 to 12 October 2024.
I'll gladly join the Month of #LibreOffice 😃. I've been using it for years, both private and for work. And guess what, I'm good even when working with MS-using colleagues.
Even my grandpa uses it happily. It took him years to realise it's not MS Office, because it worked just as well. If he can manage it, anyone can.
So why I love it? It does what it needs to do and does it well, and it's #free and #opensource, and actively developed and improved. What more can you need?
