the reliable push notifications on iOS (ping over APN) is was not yet ported to mailcow. so would be perfect if someone would do that. Besides that mailcow works fine, I used it for some years myself.
I am really keen to establish a Delta Chat/chatmail server in Australia but, as an aged pensioner, the A$70.00/mth for a hosted VPS is a little too prohibitive.
@avoca for that amount of money you can rent a real physical server, not just a virtual private server. (unless you don't have the choice of provider and can take only this offer for whatever reason)
is there any VPS provider more chad than #Contabo ?? arcanechat.me VPS went down today, the VPS will simply fail to start from the Control Panel, this WAY TOO OFTEN happens during weekends or holidays, their status page says nothing about any problems or maintenance, and if you try to write to support they will tell you "sorry it is weekend, your message will not even be stored" so I guess arcanechat.me will be down the whole weekend >
@treefit when there is multi-transport I guess I could plan a migration with an step where the existing one is still used, the problem is that there is not much guaranties that whatever I choose will work properly, ex. most other providers you need to ask for allowing port 25, and that might take time or gaining trust etc. or other problems that I am not aware of until trying, while if I don't completely drop current one I can try more easily others without full migration several times
@pvagner looks interesting but it is 12 euros per month, with that money I could get two VPS in other providers which would actually be more resilient than having a single VPS, #ArcaneChat will have multi-transport support per profile which means users will be able to use two different servers at the same time in case one goes down etc

Looking on reactos.org/faq/#can-i-installā¦ I found "Can I install ReactOS and run any software compatible with Windows on it? Probably yes. However we highly recommend to check first if your favourite app runs in ReactOS. ReactOS is still an on-going project and not all the apps and drivers runs perfect on it."

react OS probably doesn't have a full implimentation of MSAA, let alone UIA for nvda to hook into, so my first guess would probably be no? react is mostly designed to emulate an XP era machine so even if nvda ran it'd likely have to be 17.3 or earlier... and then you'd have to find sound drivers...

In November 2022, I opened issue 99108 on Pythonās GitHub repository, arguing that after a recent CVE in its implementation of SHA3, Python should embrace verified code for all of its hash-related infrastructure.
