I'm running android 12.1 and included calendar and keyboard are no longer accessible. Keyboard is not a problem for me, as I am using 3rd party braille keyboards either soft braille keyboard or the one included within corvus suite of apps.
However I am unable to find an accessible calendar app.
Etar is partially accessible, only the agenda view is useable with the screen reader.
Simple calendar has accessibility issues.
Have you got some more tips?

Congrats @gnome #Amberol is very #accessible music player! Player controls including volume and skip sliders, playlist view, playlist selection all these features can be used with keyboard alone and screen reader turned on. If GTK issues like inaccessible shortcuts window, role names part of the controls labels will get fixed in the future it would really become fully complete in terms of #a11y.

Wow, ok, this is freaky.
New computer. Fedora Silverblue 36. Not signed into anything. Location services is on (using Mozilla location services). I’ve been living in Ireland now for 3+ years.
I open GNOME Maps app. I grant it location access. I press the “Go to current location” button.
It goes to the exact location of the home we had in Malmö, Sweden.
What. The. Fuck?
OK, so I have no idea how that’s possible. Mozilla must have somehow cached that location but how do they know it’s me?

Fucking hell, as some of you have pointed out in the comments, also, it’s tied to my router. I have the same router I had in Malmö. If this is not a GDPR violation, I have no idea what is.
So Mozilla – Defender of Privacy™ – is storing my location history, tied to my router, without ever having gotten consent from me to do so.
This is a fucking scandal.
Dear !Friendica Support I have just noticed my network page on my instance of friendica is not listing any posts. It displays filters but not the content it-self. When using tusky on android the content is there. I'm running php 8.1 might that causing issues? In the error log I can't find errors just notices and deprecated stuff.

Yes, I've created new chromium profile for testing and it's working the way I'd expect. Hmm. strange. Do I have to set expires max in my nginx config to help browsers invalidate its cache? I can delete browser cache for my-self but I don't think I can ask my potential users to regularly do that.

Oh. What a discovery. Slovenská sporiteľňa is stopping SMS authentication of in app payments. However their MToken app is not #Accessible to screen reader users on android. Have you seen it else where with your Erste / Modernste bank account too?

When writing articles or documents in general I'd occassionally like to add pictures into the document e.g. a photo or a screenshot. While doing this I am always asking for help from someone else because I'm #blind. Can you give me some recommendations how to make sure the image is right size and it does not overlap the text or the other way round? Either pure HTML, or wordpress or markdown. #a11y #askfedi

So that depends on what the image is. If it's detailed and a main subject, like a photo, a screenshot, etc, I would say something like 1024x768 for photos, full scale for screenshots.
If it's an icon or profile picture, something like 32x32 is better.
