I use K-9 Mail (aka Thunderbird Mobile) on my phone, installed via #FDroid. Last week, K-9 showed up in the list of pending updates in the Google Play Store, despite it not having installed that apk, and not being able to update it (and it wants to install the same version as is already installed). I can't clear it from the "pending updates" list. Unfortunately this seems to be a new #Android Play Store bug (see forum.f-droid.org/t/google-pla…). Reported to Google.

@IzzyOnDroid have you had any experience with this bug?

Oh, you've expected a different #AndroidAppRain from apt.izzysoft.de/fdroid right now? OK, so I'll give that as well. 12 updated and 1 added apps today:

* Lernkarten Eule: practice with flash cards

Nah, I MIRROR!

IzzyOnDroid hereby proudly announces its first mirror has gone live about 24 hours ago. A big thanks to Andrew Lewman for giving it a home in the bay area "beyond the sea". So faster access for those "over there", and more resilience too.

Every month our mobile developers (cketti and Wolf) write a detailed progress report showing what's been completed on our journey from K-9 Mail to Thunderbird for Android.

In January most of our work went into polishing the user interface and user experience of the new and improved account setup. However, there was still one feature missing that we really wanted to get in there...
