Mohl by někdo doporučit lightweight alternativu k #Redmine? Která by uměla jednoduchý task tracker (v podstatě pouze jednoduchý todolist se statusem jednotlivých tasků a přiřazením k určitým lidem), ovšem důležitá je taky možnost propojení s emailem, aby šlo odpovídat na maily ze systému a ty by se pak objevily buď jako komentáře tasku či nové tasky.
Jde mi o to, aby systém dovedl používat BFU. Ten email proto, aby se do systému ani nemusel přihlásit a přesto ho mohl používat.
Redmine je fajn, ale na jednoduché projekty je krkolomný, většina featur je zbytečná a z hlediska BFU není zrovna přívětivý.
(vím že existuje Trello a spol, ale rád bych to instaloval na vlastní server, čili nejlépe nějaký opensource projekt)
@kubicek Jestli myslíš aplikaci Vikunja, tak je aktivní. Používám jí skoro dva roky bez problémů. Nedávno vyšla aktualizace. Vikunja aplikaci v mobilu bohužel nemá, tak oznámení lze dělat přes email a instalovat jen přes Firefox na plochu v Androidu. Wekan jsem zkoušel už dřív a je myslím také stále aktivní. @mig

My task was to wrote a custom import module in #python that can read data from an excel xlsx document. I had end up implementing it by using #xlrd module initially and later on I discovered it no longer handles xlsx files thus I converted it to use #openpyxl instead.
A question to the #Tech bubble: I would like to use #Thunderbird with a bunch of shared calendars over Caldav. I had this issue two years ago and now here it comes again: Thunderbird becomes very slow as soon as all these calendars are added. They contain plenty of events each, many of them are reoccuring and I have tried both with and without offline support and also disabling autorefresh on some of those. I recall that back when I had the issue last, switching the view to show just one calendar at a time would help but to no avail now. Is this something I have to live with in 2023? ###Mozilla #OpenSource

It gives free access to streaming versions of the Ukrainian National Library's reissue CDs of wax cylinders of #klezmer, #Yiddish song, #nigunim, etc. from the 1910s through the 1930s. Most of these were recorded on folklore collecting expeditions in the Pale of Settlement or later in Soviet Ukraine and Belarus. OK, that brightened my whole day. While libreoffice is already kinda accessible, issues with tables especially still persist, where you basically have to see in order to align those correctly, among other things. Another weird one is that one can't use structural navigation or browse mode inside libreoffice, which one can do in windows with office, but also with orca in other web apps. This is especially used for sr users to jump to headings, links, buttons, form elements and such very quickly, so I think this would be very useful to add. Anyway, any accessibility features and roadmaps?
@bgtlover Hi! Michael will initially primarily focus on improving LibreOffice for use with a screen reader, based on issues reported in the Bugzilla issue tracker. OK, I'm looking over the list, some of those issues I personally encountered as well, but didn't report them because they would be effectively duplicates. Very interesting the issue with nvda and structural navigation in documents, does orca suffer from the same issues? Do you expose the headings and links and such as normal at-spi accessible objects?
This is great! I use Libreoffice for much of my work, though there are some aspects that make it difficult for visual accessibility reasons.
The first issue: the flip point where text becomes white or black based on the cell color in the spreadsheet is incorrect, as a result, a lot of mid range cell colors end up with text that's not readable (unless the text color is overridden).
Another: the highlight color for certain buttons in the UI when the system is in dark mode makes the text unreadable on the button.

Hey sighted gamers, I'm gonna try to get you to step out of your comfort zone a bit. Yes, believe it or not, despite the game I'm about to promote, this post is not for the blind gamers out there... unless you somehow haven't played it before. Anyway, here goes. While writing my book, I've been tempted to play some games again, and one of them is a game called alt-frequencies. It's a game where the entire story is told in the form of radio broadcasts which you can influence by recording clips from one station and sending them to another. The game is mostly linear, however you can affect the story by sending different clips to different stations, and yes, there are multiple endings. It has minimal graphics, but this game is all about the audio. Sighted gamers, step out of your comfort zone. Try it. It's available on PC, Switch, and mobile, and it's very high-quality. Does it make any difference at all with screen readers? The theme - as far as I understand it - only changes the CSS. Or in other words, does a screen reader read websites differently if the CSS is different?
@mark22k Yes, certain unusual CSS patterns that make sense from the perspective of the visual side may disrupt the screen reader experience i.e. items that should be hidden are still discoverable with a screen reader, the order of elements in the DOM may not correspond with the designer's intention and the visual order etc.
My understanding is that GUIs are usually worse than TUIs for #blind users. Sadly, I don't know of any #TUI for #OpenWRT (well, there's the command line, obviously, and there's a class-project over at github.com/mattacwilson/OpenWR…, but that's no replacement for LuCI 😞)

The nine months of waiting have paid off. We now have a fully accessible Hacker News client, complete with one flick per post/comment, rotor actions and somewhere down the line, three-finger swipes planned or already implemented. The app also offers the ability to compose posts, comment on threads, search for old stories and browse all of the HN's categories. @JesseF8693 Well I'd say try VMWare player 17, but there's some nasty issue with the sound at the moment, not sure why. I have older VMWare 12 and 15 and it's much better.
@BorrisInABox @JesseF8693 Things that use the old sound driver fail. AC97. If it's HD Audio it's fine. Windows 10 is fine, for example. Windows 98, ME and XP are using AC97, at least my VM's are, and they break, hard.

Yes, consider Windows Explorer. Space selects the file but you need enter to open it. I think that's a place it comes from. Buttons in dialogue boxes usually take either.
