The theory is that the DRM's implementation of AMD's Unified Video Decoder does not properly keep track of #Flatpak process IDs. A patch is underway.

The latest beta has been promoted to the "open testing" track, so that now everyone can become a tester and install the latest beta, which is a preview of the next stable release.
I'll wait until I improve notification support, so probably there is another month or so to wait. Keep an eye on the issue tracker to know what I'm working on, just in case ๐
