Over the past months, we’ve been improving the accessibility of both our desktop and mobile apps, in particular to better support visually impaired users.
Here is a summary of the changes: - feat: add profile recovery screen; - fix: review inline content alternate text; - fix: strip off HTML before editing posts; - enhancement: improve timeline a11y; - enhancement: add friendica.myportal.social to default instances; - chore: add unit tests for content pagination and repositories; - chore: dependency updates.
This is mostly a bugfix release dealing with the most annoying issues you reported (e.g. the lack of management for expired tokens, accessibility issues, post editing with markup). Plus, since I've been adding a lot of unit tests, some minor bugs (e.g. direct messages pagination) were resolved too.
I'll keep populating the backlog with what you report and I'll continue to add tests to increase coverage.

Google's Play Integrity is limiting access to certain functionalities and applications for those using custom operating systems. This is a direct attack on the open-source community and a step towards further consolidating Google's monopoly in the mobile ecosystem.
Had to explain to another user why asking a volunteer project to fix an issue is inappropriate.
And I get that's it's a really subtle point here between saying "I also have this problem" (fine) and "Please fix this issue" (not ok)
i.e. You can only ask people you have a relationship with to do work for you. You can NOT ask strangers to labour for you for free, even if you think it's important, or appropriate.
Not endorsing the #degoogle hashtag here just because a hell of a lot of spackle is needed for a comparable experience, but if you're interested in #cloud email servoces, this is one of the better ones in this space.
This release contains some minor tweaks and some user-contributed features and fixes, most notably the ability to choose the amount of columns to display in the home screen and a fix to retain the search state when rotating the screen or opening a card.
